วันนี้ (๒๒ พ.ค.๕๖) เวลา ๐๙.๐๐ น. พระพรหมบัณฑิต ศ.ดร. อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ได้มอบหมายพระสุวรรณเมธาภรณ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวางแผนและพัฒนา เป็นประธานเปิดการประชุมสัมมนาวิจัยนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ ๕ ณ โรงแรมศรีตรัง เชิงสะพานพระราม ๘ ฝั่งพระนคร โดยมีนักวิจัยเถรวาทและมหายานเสนองานวิจัย จำนวน ๑๕๐ ท่าน เข้าร่วมประชุม
               การสัมมนาวิจัยนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ ๕ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการจัดประชุมชาวพุทธนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ ๑๐ เนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา วันสำคัญของสหประชาชาติ ประจำปีพุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๖
พระมหาสุทิตย์ อาภากโร ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยพุทธศาสตร์ กล่าวว่า การนำเสนอรายงานการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ เป็นงานนำเสนอผลงานการวิจัยด้านพระพุทธศาสนาและด้านสังคมในระดับนานาชาติที่ทางสถาบันวิจัยพุทธศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัยได้ดำเนินการร่วมกับสถาบันการศึกษาด้านพระพุทธศาสนาทั้งในและต่างประเทศ เถรวาทและมหายาน
