On Monday, 5 April 2021, Phra Brommoli (Suchat Dhammaratano, Pali Language Studies Grade 9), a member of Sangha Supreme Council, Asst.Abbot of Wat Paknam Phasicharoen, President of Central Pali Language Testing Service Headquarter of Thailand presided over the anouncement of 2021 Pali language studies examination results at Buddhist Monks Training Hall, Wat Sam Phraya Voravihara, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok.

In the year of 2021 64 monks and novices from  monastic schools all over the country got passed Pali Language Studies Grade 9, out of these 64 there are 7 novices who have got passed Pali Language Studies Grade 9 as follows:

1. Samanera Wayu Suramani with 21 years old, Wat Chana Songkhram, Bangkok;

2. Samanera Watthana Doksaba with 22 years old, Wat Theplila, Bangkok;

3. Samanera Achan Sa-ad-eam with 22 years old, Wat Paknam Phasicharoen, Bangkok;

4. Samanera Agrawich Sombut with 18 years old, Wat Bangpliyainai, Samut Prakan Province;

5. Samanera Phoomin Hongthong with 19 years old, Wat Bangpliyainai, Samut Prakan Province;

6. Samanera Chitthep Tokhum with 22 years old, Wat Sanghanuphab, Kamphaeng Phet Province;

7. Samanera Suphachit Pungpho with 21 years old, Wat Chaisri, Khon Kaen Province.

These 7 novices need to be ordianed as Buddhist monks in the Ubosatha of Wat Phra Sriratanasasadaram or Wat Phra Kaeo in the royal patronage of His Majesty the King.

In this year, Pali monastic schools across the country enrolled 28,392 monks and novices to take the 2021 Pali language final test at all grades, with 3,445 monks and novices who have got passed the Pali language final test in all grades, representing 12.13 percent of all test takers as follows:

1. Pali Language Grade 9  - 407 enrolled and 64 passed;

2. Pali Language Grade 8 -  741 enrolled and 69 passed;

3. Pali Language Grade 7 - 904 enrolled and 158 passed;

4. Pali Language Grade 6 - 1,007 enrolled and 255 passed;

5. Pali Language Grade 5 - 1,307 enrolled and 212 passed;

6. Pali Language Grade 4 - 2,510 enrolled and 574 passed;

7. Pali Language Grade 3 - 4,283 enrolled and 751 passed;

8. Pali Language Grade 1-2 - 17,233 enrolled and 1,362 passed.
