Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phra Methithammajarn, Vice Rector for Planning and Development of MCU disclosed that the University Council had unanimous resolution to confer a honorary doctorate degree upon both super stars because both the super stars have had contributions to the country, Buddhism, Monarchy, soceity and the university in different in variuos empirical forms.

Today (10 March 2021) at 1:30 p.m. both the honorary doctors, Chaiya Mitchai and Athichat Chumnanon have expressed an appreciation to the university and confirmed that they shall keep constantly going on doing good for the nation, Buddhism, Monarchy and soceity as well as helping drive the sustainable development of arts and culture preservation.
