On Wednesday, 16 September 2020 the Most Ven. Phra Brombundit, the Member of Sangha Supreme Council, Acting Sangha Central Supreme Primate, Abbot of Wat Prayuravongsavasvoravihara, a former Rector of MCU kindly donated money of 50,000 Baht for providing lunch to adminostrators, lecturers, staff and students of MCU on his 65th birthday anniversary which is on 17 September 2020.

It is generally known that Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University provides breakfast and lunch to about 200-300 international students from 28 countries studying at MCU Wang Noi, Ayutthaya every day.

In every year, in fact the Most Ven. Phra Brombundit and followers organize his birthday anniversary to provide food and scholarships to students of MCU but due to this year Thailand and the world has been under the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the Most Ven. and followers do not organize the celebration of his birthday anniversary in accordance with the Notifications of the government and Sangha Supreme Council.
