On 13 April, 2018: MCU MEDITATION CENTER:  125 Dhammaduta Bhikkhus at MCU Development Religious Center in Phetchabun pay respect Phra Rajsithimuni, Director of Vipassana Institute of MCU with the master meditations, lecturers of Dhammaduta College for the Songkran Water Festival which is meaning from Sanskrit word “Songkran” to move or pass into. This ancient festival celebrates the Thai New Year, April 13 through April 15. The origins derive from the ancient Indian Festival of Makar Sanskriti. The Indian version recognizes the suns celestial path and Thai translates the version recognizing the passing of an old year into a new one. Dhammaduta Bhikkhus are, therefore, to pay respect the masters who trained and taught them to get knowledge as well. They are many supporters and devotees who also join the ceremony at MCU Religious Development Campson in Phetchabun.
