On 27^th June, 2563/2020, Most Venerable Somdet Phra Buddhachinawong, former chief abbot of Wat Phichaiyayatikaram, Bangkok and the Ecclesiastical Governor of Central Region, has passed away on 28^th June, 2562/2019 when he was 78 years of age. He was organized the royal cremation ceremony at Wat Debsirindawas Ratchaworawihan, Bangkok in this afternoon. On this occasion, Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU and his assistant members paid the latest respecting to him. Thousands of member of Sangha and Buddhist devotes were also attending this ceremony.
