His Majesty the King Graciously Bestows Monastic Robes, Bathing Water, and Offerings upon Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of MCU, on His 66th Birth Anniversary

Ayutthaya - 28 September 2026, His Majesty the King graciously bestowed monastic robes, bathing water, royal offerings, and alms upon Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU). This gracious offering marked the merit-making ceremony celebrating the Rector's 66th auspicious birth anniversary, held at the MVK 48th Anniversary Building, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Wang Noi District, Ayutthaya Province. The royal gesture brought immense joy and profound gratitude for His Majesty the King's boundless benevolence to the university's administrators, faculty members, staff, and disciples.

At 9:00 a.m., the administrators, faculty members, and staff united for an environmental and landscape-improvement activity within the university grounds. They collaborated in planting trees across three key locations as follows:
1. Near the 72-Year Phra Visuthathibodi Building (Dining Hall), on the Vipassana Meditation Building side, where five Fiddle-leaf fig trees were planted.
2. Along the central reservation of Wannisorn Road (the main road), where 167 Korean banyan trees were planted.
3. In front of the MVK 48th Anniversary Building, where one sacred Bodhi tree, brought from Bodh Gaya, India, and the Alexandrian laurel tree were planted.

Subsequently, at 9:30 a.m., the merit-making ceremony for the 66th birth anniversary of Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of MCU officially commenced. Twenty high-ranking monks chanted Buddhist mantras to bestow blessings and prosperity.

Furthermore, the event featured the handover of donated items to support the university's operations and missions. The donations included five electric vehicles and two 85-inch LED televisions. On this occasion, the university held a ceremony to award certificates of appreciation to the generous hosts and sponsors, including those who supported the tree planting, donated the televisions, and sponsored the meals. The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with immense joy, spiritual fulfillment, and auspiciousness.
